Need help from my curly haired ladies!?

Well as we all know curls are gorgeous butttt sometimes I want to change it up a bit! My hair has veryyyy tight curls and some frizz spots. Any good suggestions on products, flat irons or techniques to get a handle on my luscious locks???? Thanks :)
