Coloring my hair red???????????

for the summer, i want to color my hair that SPLAT: Luscious raspberry color. but see, my hair is dark brown. will that color red show up exactly that red on my dark brown hair? cuz see, i dont want it coming our orangy or some other color, i want to to be the exact color it is on the box. Will it come out like its suppose to?
