Is the hair flip still a valid flirt move?

My hair is pretty much my best asset. It's pleasingly flowy and thick, my favorite thing to brag about. But I'm not sure if it's still cool to do 'the hair flip' when trying to flirt. Guys, do you think it's cute when a girl plays with her hair or flips it over her shoulders 'n stuff? Girls, do you do that if you have totally luscious locks and want to look good for a guy? Or is it tacky?
